Sewer cleaning in Tbilisi

When the bath drains slowly, the toilet fills up or sewage rises in the basement, the blockage is almost always the build-up on the pipe wall rather than one particular object. A high-pressure jet washes that build-up off and gives the pipe its original diameter back.

Who it is for

  • Flats — bathroom, toilet, shared stack
  • Houses — internal pipework and the yard manhole
  • Stairwells — the shared horizontal run and the basement
  • Offices and shops

Why it blocks

  • Wet wipes and hygiene products — they do not break down in water
  • Grease that has built up on the wall over years
  • Hair and soap residue in the shower trap
  • Building debris and sand after a renovation
  • Corrosion inside an old cast-iron pipe, narrowing the bore
  • Tree roots in the yard run and the manhole

How we clear it

We open the inspection point, trap or manhole and feed the hose into the pipe. The nozzle fires backwards against the wall, so the hose pulls itself forward and washes the section it has passed at the same time.

Once past the blockage we run the same section several more times so nothing is left on the wall — this is what separates cleaning from punching a hole with a snake.

We finish by running the water and checking with you how freely it drains.

What it costs

The price depends on where the blockage is and how we reach the pipe: a pipe inside a flat and a shared stack are different jobs. We give a free range on the phone and the final figure on site, before starting.

Common questions

Will it make a mess in the flat?

We work from the inspection point or trap, with sheeting under the hose, and clean the area when the job is done.

If the blockage is in the shared stack, do I need access to neighbours?

Usually not — the shared pipe can normally be reached from the basement or a stairwell inspection point. If there is no other way, we tell you on site.

How long does it last?

If the cause is build-up, months and often more than a year. If the pipe is damaged or a root is growing in, we tell you afterwards what it needs so the problem does not return.
