- What is blocked
- A kitchen sink, a toilet, a shower trap, a shared stack or a yard manhole are different jobs, with different hoses and nozzles.
- Length and diameter of the pipe
- A pipe inside a flat is a few metres; a yard run is tens of them. The longer the section, the more time it takes.
- How we reach the pipe
- An accessible inspection point or manhole makes the job quick. Having to take apart fittings to reach the pipe adds time.
- What is blocking it
- Grease, sand and silt, roots or building debris each take a different amount of work — roots are the hardest.
- When
- Night and weekend call-outs are agreed separately, on the phone, before we set off.
